Fall 2025
With the end of the year approaching, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the impact of our Fall 2025 intern class. Throughout their academic semester, this group shined in their dedication to their work, helping support projects across the FanCompass team. It’s been great having them involved in the program and watching them grow in their roles over the past few months!
As always, we asked our interns to share some insights about their time and experience at FanCompass, and we’re excited to share their reflections with you in our latest Intern Blog.

“Working at FanCompass over the course of my fall semester has not only helped me grow exponentially as a professional, but it has taught me what it means to work for a close-knit company where each individual works diligently to create a greater whole product. In September, I was welcomed by a team of caring professionals who all acted as mentors for me throughout this experience. FanCompass does an amazing job making your time here meaningful and purposeful; I had the opportunity to join multiple internal team calls, contribute ideas to campaigns, conduct weekly research projects, join meetings with FanCompass sports teams, participate in intern roundtable meetings, and more. FanCompass creates an environment that allows you to ask questions, reach out for help, contribute to areas of your interest, and be mentored with utmost respect and guidance. I feel forever grateful to have worked for a company that puts so much care into the development of its interns and grants us so much autonomy and independence. I will always look back at this experience fondly and take every skill I learned with me throughout the rest of my career.”

“My experience with FanCompass this past fall was nothing short of enlightening. As a student, one of my top priorities was to gain valuable, real-world experience in the sports industry, and this internship proved to be the perfect platform to do just that. From day one, it became apparent that FanCompass is more than just a workplace; it is a community of kind, hard-working individuals dedicated to a shared vision. The work here is full of purpose, and there is no busy work for interns. Instead, I was thrown into the mix, learning everything from the intricacies of account management to the dynamic world of sports marketing. These hands-on challenges have equipped me with skills and insights that extend far beyond the scope of a standard internship. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the team for welcoming me into such a supportive culture. Working alongside these individuals inspired me to better my work habits and helped me clarify my professional goals. I leave here with memories I will cherish, valuable industry connections, and the confidence that I can be successful in this field. To anyone looking to further their career in the sports industry, I could not have asked for a better experience. FanCompass is a place where you will grow, learn, and evolve.”

“This past fall, I had the opportunity to intern with FanCompass, working on data analytics and sponsorship related projects. From the beginning, it was clear that interns are trusted with meaningful work that directly supports teams, partners, and the overall mission of the company. Throughout the internship, I analyzed data on sponsored digital campaigns, prepared sponsor summaries and recap presentations, and worked on a variety of tasks in all facets of the business. I gained great hands-on experience with how data drives sponsorship value and informs strategy. I also had the opportunity to contribute ideas and participate in client-facing conversations, which helped me refine how I communicate insights and recommendations to different audiences. What truly set this experience apart was the culture at FanCompass. The team was incredibly welcoming, supportive, and invested in intern development. Through onboarding, team meetings, and regular collaboration, I gained a great look at how a sports company operates and maintains meaningful relationships with its clients. This internship broadened my perspective on careers in sports, and I’m grateful for the mentorship, learning opportunities, and relationships I built at FanCompass.”
