Spring 2026
As the Spring semester comes to a close, we want to recognize and thank an exceptional group of interns who brought energy, curiosity, creativity, and dedication to the FanCompass team every day. Their willingness to learn, strong work ethic, and passion for sports and entertainment had a meaningful impact across our organization, and we are grateful for everything they contributed this semester. As they graduate and take the next steps in their professional journeys, we’re excited to share a few reflections from the group about their time with FanCompass.

“Interning with FanCompass has been one of the most rewarding and impactful experiences of my collegiate career! As I entered my degree’s final internship requirement, I was looking for an opportunity that would challenge me, add real value, and play a meaningful role in my professional development as I prepare to enter the sports and entertainment industry. After thirteen weeks with FanCompass, I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation! From being thrown into the fire in week one to joining external client calls and creating social media and marketing content, I felt like a true member of the team from the very beginning. It’s clear that FanCompass has built a thoughtful and well-structured internship program that integrates interns seamlessly into day-to-day operations.
Throughout the experience, I felt consistently supported by a team of professionals who were always willing to answer my questions, offer guidance, and share valuable career advice. The opportunity to connect with both internal team members and external industry professionals has been incredibly valuable, and the relationships I built will stay with me moving forward! Working on the marketing team was especially rewarding, as it allowed me to tap into my creative side while contributing to the company’s brand and overall image. From social media posts and press releases to newsletters and website design, I gained hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing initiatives. Additionally, my understanding of business data and analytics has grown significantly.
I’m incredibly grateful to the entire FanCompass team for their support and mentorship! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience to help launch my career in the sports and entertainment industry!”

“Joining FanCompass as a Spring 2026 intern on the Customer Success team was one of the most valuable remote internship experiences I could have asked for. From week one, I learned the platform by creating twelve demo campaigns, including one focused on the FIFA World Cup 2026. While I initially felt overwhelmed, I quickly learned the importance of asking questions and benefited from being part of a small, collaborative team that was always willing to help.
After receiving feedback, I began contributing to real projects, building polls and trivia from January through May for nearly 50 teams across MiLB, colleges, USL, and the National Lacrosse League. In total, I created around 100 campaigns per month, reaching roughly 500 overall. Managing that volume required strong time management, organization through Google Calendar, and a consistent willingness to learn. These experiences not only helped me succeed at FanCompass but also strengthened skills I will carry into future opportunities in the sports industry.
Huge thank you to David, Aaron, and Jamie, along with the entire FanCompass team, for their guidance, feedback, and support throughout the semester. They truly made this experience special.”

"From the start of my internship with FanCompass I felt welcomed and valued in the company environment. Everyone I talked to genuinely wanted to see me succeed both with FanCompass and beyond. Throughout the semester I was trusted with meaningful work, allowing me to gain hands-on experience in the sponsorships department. Some of my work included analyzing sponsored campaigns, developing sponsorship summaries for teams, and meeting with outside companies to brainstorm new opportunities.
I was able to work closely with the other interns on projects, which also contributed to my growth. I learned about the importance of fan data and how teams can grow a better understanding of who their fans are. One thing that impressed me so much about FanCompass was how well they worked with each team, focusing on building relationships and putting the team's needs first. I was able to learn about different aspects of the industry, and the skills I have learned from this internship will make me stand out in any future career.
I am very grateful for all that FanCompass has taught me this semester, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to grow their career in this field."

“My experience with FanCompass has been extremely valuable and has given me real-world experience in sports business and sales. From the start, I was trusted with meaningful work rather than busy work, which helped me grow professionally and build confidence in my abilities.
I have gained hands-on experience with outbound prospecting, Salesforce, setting up demo meetings, and sitting in on sales calls with colleges and professional sports teams. I have also enjoyed working on the FanCompass Wrapped intern project, which helped me improve my Excel skills and become more confident with data analysis.
What stood out most to me was how supportive everyone was throughout the internship, especially the supervisors who not only helped me with my work but also gave me guidance as I look for post-grad opportunities. Overall, FanCompass has helped me grow, make valuable connections, and better understand that I enjoy the corporate side of sports more than the team side.”
