Spring 2024
As the latest academic semester comes to a close, our Spring 2024 interns are preparing to take the next steps in their academic and professional journeys! This season, each intern brought enthusiasm, curiosity, and a strong willingness to learn, quickly becoming an important part of the FanCompass team. It’s been a pleasure watching them grow and contribute throughout the semester, and we’re grateful for the energy they brought to the team.
As always, we asked our interns to share some insights about their time and experience at FanCompass, and we’re excited to share their reflections with you in our latest Intern Blog.

“When I came to do my Masters in Sports Management in San Francisco, one of my goals was to start gaining real experience in the world of sports. Fancompass was the first to open the doors to this world for me, and I couldn't be more grateful to them. I couldn't have had a better start than with this company. Since I met David at my first job interview, I knew he would be a great mentor, and he was. From the beginning of my internship in March until my last day in June, David was always there to teach me something; one of the best things was his trust and support. I am eternally grateful that he gave me responsibilities and the opportunity to make decisions working with other companies like CND. My experience at Fancompass was excellent. I learned a lot about the sector and how important aspects such as people's “engagement” are with the marketing campaigns we create for the LigaMx teams. The team is amazing and fun, and the meetings were very dynamic and ended with fun activities. All of the learnings will accompany me in the next great opportunities that come my way. The connections I made here are invaluable. I definitely recommend anyone who has a passion for the sports world to come and work with this company. I will always be grateful to Fancompass for this opportunity to develop my career!”

"My time at FanCompass this spring was truly exceptional. It quickly became evident that I was part of an outstanding team with a noticeable culture, populated by genuinely kind and hardworking individuals. It shocked me right off the bat how tight-knit the team was despite working remotely from all over the country. Unlike typical intern tasks, the work at FanCompass was purposeful and engaging, providing invaluable insights into the sports industry and what it takes to succeed within it. I am able to leave this internship with tangible evidence of projects I’ve worked on and how they’ve helped the company and our clients. This internship served as my integration into the sports world, and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction. I wholeheartedly recommend FanCompass to anyone seeking an internship in sports. The company's trajectory of growth and innovation in this ever-evolving industry is undeniable, making it an ideal environment for personal and professional development."

“As this semester comes to a close, it’s time to reflect on this incredible internship experience. I was nervous starting at FanCompass, but very quickly it became clear that I was joining a fantastic culture where people genuinely cared about and enthusiastically supported each other every single day. Since that first day, I have made countless memories I will cherish as well as experiences that helped me learn and develop new skills. Working for this top-notch company and with the incredible individuals here allowed me to observe a new level of passion for this sector of the sports internship, which in turn motivated me to attempt to improve myself within my role from my first day to my last. The work you do here is incredibly purposeful and not “busy work”. This internship was my first experience working in sports, and I could not have asked for a better experience. I never could have anticipated how much I would enjoy my time with FanCompass. This is an incredible place to learn, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to grow.”

“Interning at FanCompass was the best way to cap off my college career. This immersive experience not only deepened my understanding of fan engagement but also integrated me into the team seamlessly, treating us like valued members from day one. The work environment at FanCompass shaped my internship experience, leaving a mark on my professional growth. From day one, the team prioritized active participation, creating an atmosphere where interns are integral contributors. They actively encouraged us to immerse ourselves in various aspects of the company's operations by participating in meetings, creating campaigns, offering input on ongoing projects, or proactively seeking involvement within. I felt like I was a full-time employee. Through this hands-on involvement, I gained invaluable insights into the world of fan engagement, learning firsthand how FanCompass leverages innovative approaches and technologies to enhance the fan experience. My time at FanCompass was an amazing learning experience, and I cannot thank the FanCompass team enough for their unwavering support throughout the past 4 months.”
